In our college, we have a grievance committee which functions as anti-ragging committee. All the activities that comes under ragging are prominently displayed in the college with the help of banners and boards. This is done only for the general information and compliance so that no student will courage to do this. If any student is caught with any ragging activity then the grievance committee takes a strict action against the student.
At the time of admission, we make all the students familiar with such incidences so that they will not get any kind of problem in future. In order to prevent the ragging activities in the campus, the grievance committee keeps a strict vigil on the campus. Thus, in our college, we encourage all the senior students to act as senior friends and mentors to the juniors.
The government of India has banned the ragging in each and every college and before establishing the college, the director needs to ensure that any such activity does not happen on Campus. But in case if any problem happens in the college and no action is taken against it, then given below is a link of anti-ragging page available on UGC website.
